Asgent Receives “Most Outstanding Partner” Award From Check Point

Asgent, Inc. (President & CEO: Takahiro Sugimoto, located in Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a pioneer in network security and operations management solutions, announces receiving the “Most Outstanding Partner” Award from Check Point Software Technologies (Japan) Ltd. (Japan President & CEO: Takahiro Sugiyama, located in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) (below, Check Point) at the Check Point Partner Seminar held in December 2009.

Asgent received this award as recognition of recording the largest annual sales for a distributor in 2009, which was the result of successfully closing multiple large scale sales accounts. Asgent receives this award having previously received the “Distributor Award 2008” from Check Point in 2008, making it the seventh award for Asgent to receive.
Check Point is a leading company in the internet security field, providing security functionality to reliably protect corporate networks from all types of threat while reducing the TCO and the complexity of security solutions. Widely known for FireWall-1 and patented Stateful Inspection technology, many tens of thousands of organizations and companies, including all the Fortune 100 companies, use Check Point security solutions.
Asgent has focused on Check Point’s leading-edge technology and has sold Check Point products since the company’s inception. Asgent has also actively promoted these products as a distributor through sales and technical training for resellers, private seminars etc, and was also the first distributor to begin 24 hour onsite maintenance services in 2000. Asgent is continuing to expand support and technical services, including the start of integration services in recent years.
Asgent will continue to proactively promote and sell Check Point products while also strengthening services such as maintenance and integration services.
