Asgent Receives “Best Achievement Distributor Award” from Check Point, as Distributor with Greatest Contribution to Sales Revenue in the past year

Asgent, Inc. (President & CEO: Takahiro Sugimoto, located in Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a pioneer in network security and operations management solutions, was awarded the “Best Achievement Distributor Award” from Check Point Software Technologies (Japan) Ltd. (President: Ken Fujioka, located in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) at the Check Point Kick Off Seminar 2013 held on April 26.

【Best Achievement Distributor Award】

Asgent was awarded the “Best Achievement Distributor Award” for having the largest sales of any Japanese distributor in the past financial year and for greatly contributing to Check Point’s sales. This is the sixth straight time Asgent has received this award since 2007, and the tenth in total.

From inception, Asgent has worked, as a Check Point distributor, to lead the market in providing enhanced support and technical services including integration services and 24/7 onsite maintenance support alongside sales of Check Point products. From March, Asgent has also begun providing a brand new service entitled “SecurityPlus™ Managed Security Service”. This service performs 24/7 monitoring of security devices such as Check Point products and provides the end user with both a detailed report of any security incident that may occur as well as the highest quality security countermeasures at a reasonable price. By implementing these services, it is possible for even the smallest end user to manage their security at a level consistent with their being a dedicated security administrator in-house.

Asgent will continue to strengthen and expand sales of Check Point products, while promoting and supporting various security measures for end users.
