Asgent, Inc. (President & CEO: Takahiro Sugimoto, located in Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a pioneer in network security and operations management solutions, in order to strengthen countermeasures against constantly diversifying cyber-attacks on corporate systems, announces that the hosted security solution "Trend Micro Deep Security" from Trend Micro will be added as a monitored device, the first such move among domestic Managed Security Service (MSS) providers.

【Background】

With the increasing trend towards the use of web services for applications and the utilization of IaaS and PaaS etc., the convenience and effectiveness of corporate systems is increasing exponentially. However, on the other hand, security threats such as website defacing incidents that are being reported more and more often are also evolving and becoming more complex to meet the changes in corporate systems. Today’s corporate systems require that both convenience and security measures be provided to the corporate users, customers and corporations they deal with to protect them from security threats.

There are unforeseen issues facing security measures within data centers and cloud services with their many variations. This service provides 24/365 monitoring by Asgent’s Security Operation Center (SOC) of the many logs produced by "Trend Micro Deep Security", whether that be in a corporate on-premise or a cloud environment, as well as correlation analysis by Asgent’s highly reputed security analysts. In other words, this service is known as the "Security Specialist’s Eye".
