(JASDAQ: 4288)

Asgent, Inc. (JASDAQ: 4288, President & CEO: Takahiro Sugimoto, located in Chuo-ku, Tokyo), a pioneer in network security and operations management solutions, announces that the next generation endpoint antimalware solution “Deep Instinct” won the Judges Special Award in the Best of Show Award AI Division at Interop Tokyo 2018, held from June 13-15.

[Best of Show Award]
Interop Tokyo is Japan´s largest ICT event, being held since 1994. The Best of Show Award is presented to "this year´s prime product" as judged a council consisting of key people from powerful media organizations and academic circles. Over 300 entries go through the finalist judging before a decision is made. Deep Instinct was recognized as having the following qualities to receive the award.

  • Apply a signatureless AI deep learning model to machines and detect, quarantine and prevent malware from executing, enabling measures to be taken against unknown malware that previous endpoint protection products could not detect.
  • Existing AI machine learning products can only support PE (executable files), but Deep Instinct supports a wide range of file types for unknown threats including PE.
  • AI machine learning products commonly have a reduced detection rate after about three months, but Deep Instinct is capable of detecting the latest malware without any degradation in detection rates after more than six months.

Karamba´s products address the car industry´s most urgent pain points, which are currently not well-addressed by network security solutions available to the automotive market. Karamba´s solutions were designed to keep cars´ safety and ensure:
 - Zero false positives
 - Zero-day protection
 - Zero delays in time-to-market

[Deep Instinct]
The first NGEPP (next generation end point protection) product in the security field in the world to detect and prevent threats before damage occurs using deep learning methodology that utilizes neural networks. By constantly and repeatedly learning millions of malware samples, it is able to detect and block malware, regardless of whether it is known or unknown, before the malware is executed on the endpoint. Because it supports a wide range of file types, endpoints can be protected against unknown threats even when the system is operating on its own. Also, in cases where there is a need to co-execute the system alongside existing endpoint solutions, it is possible to run beside major antivirus solutions such as Windows Defender and realize extremely high detections without the need to make any configuration changes. Furthermore, in addition to using the Deep Instinct control module independently, it is possible to integrate the control module with Microsoft’s cloud platform Microsoft Azure´s management solution Operations Management Suite (OMS), in order to collate the logs of Deep Instinct on each endpoint and security and operations logs on Microsoft Azure to provide unified management.

The following four products sold by Asgent were also chosen as finalists in the Best of Show Award.
[Security Division]
- IRONSCALES
- Arxan Threat Analytics Service
[Demonstration Division]
- IntSights Threat Intelligence Service
- Coronet SecureCloud
