[CES2019 Exhibition Outline]
CEO & Co-founder Ami Dotan made the following comment regarding exhibiting at CES. "The industry has been investing heavily in transforming to smart mobility and a self-driving future. However, this future relies on assuring consumer safety. We will use CES 2019 as an opportunity to share our customers´ experiences in securing their next-generation vehicles, while maintaining safety and minimizing legal exposure. We are excited to demonstrate live attacks on connected vehicles and showcase how they are deterministically prevented, without running into risks of false alerts, and without the associate cost and legal exposure of heuristic detection solutions. We are proud to showcase six different partners from across the vehicle industry."

The companies that will be exhibiting with Karamba at CES2019 are the following.

Micron Technology, Inc.
A zero-trust methodology is essential for ECU end-to-end security. Karamba and Micron Technology collaborate to use the Micron® Authenta™ security architecture in standard flash memory to harden ECUs. Micron Authenta supported flash memory provides security functionality that simplifies security implementation on platform layers by local trusted hardware root and encryption keys.

STMicroelectronics
Karamba Carwall is integrated into the STMicroelectronics' modular telematics platform, and is utilized as the in-vehicle processor Telemaco3P (STA1385) security architecture. In-vehicle application developers can use this module implemented on the Telemaco3P to reduce time to market, perform simply product level tests on customization, check image integrity, optimize performance and ensure completeness of Karamba runtime operations, secure data connection and completeness of update data through internal hardware security module for secure communications.

Arm Limited
Karamba SafeCAN that operates on Arm processors provides revolutionary credential encryption technology to the CAN network, that authenticates each message source with no overhead. SafeCAN key management does not require key exchange on the CAN bus, make it simple and intuitive. In the future, SafeCAN will raise the total solution security level by providing a trusted platform utilizing Arm TrustZone technology and being able to deploy encrypted keys to highly trusted secure elements.

Wind River
Karamba and Wind River have collaborated and supported OEM and Tier-1 providers to improve in-vehicle security, make ECUs robust and protect factor settings. By combining Karamba´s Runtime Integrity Technology with the Wind River Chassis, it is possible to support the securing of in-vehicle systems from infotainment and TCUs to autonomous driving and V2X ECUs. The Wind River Chassis portfolio for automotive software is comprised of products including (1) high performance and industry leading VxWorks RTOS, (2) Wind River Drive for customers developing Adaptive AUTOSAR automotive applications with a focus on safety that are ISO 26262 ASIL D certified, (3) commercial open source technology such as Wind River Linux, (4) Wind River Diab Compiler, (5) Wind River Edge Sync that provides a software framework for remote OTA (Over-The-Air) updates and software lifecycle management.

Ficosa Corporation
Strengthened Telematics Control Units (TCU) capable of preventing in-memory cyber-attacks will be displayed. These TCUs use Karamba's CFI (Control Flow Integrity) technology.

Alpine
Alpine's revolutionary infotainment system provides a rich interface and fast internet access. Alpine and Karamba are using the Carwall solution to strengthen infotainment ECUs. By doing so, safety can be guaranteed by state-of-the-art CFI technology while preventing in-memory attacks.

Also, at CES, apart from demonstrations with partner companies, it will also be possible to join educational sessions focused on the benefits of self-protecting automobiles that will make the future of smart mobility a certainty.
