  Asgent Inc. (President & CEO: Takahiro Sugimoto, Tokyo) announces that Votiro’s CDR solution, one of the products and services the company carries provided by Votiro Cybersec Ltd. (Israel) is reported to hold the largest share in the domestic email and file CDR market for the fifth consecutive year, based on the ITR Market View: Endpoint/CDR/Web Isolation/CASB/CSPM/SOAR Markets 2022 research ^*2) conducted by ITR Corporation.

Votiro’s CDR (Content Disarm and Reconstruction) solution focuses on the possibility that a file may contain malware and sanitizes any file coming in from outside. Because of its safety of sanitizing files with higher accuracy than other products and usefulness of recursively sanitizing embedded files, Votiro has been chosen to implement in many essential services such as local government security cloud, LGWAN-ASP, electrical application systems, gaining a popularity among organizations and users. Votiro’s Disarmer has been widely installed especially by local governments across 46 prefectures in Japan ^*3, which makes the brand practically de facto.

In August this year, Asgent released Votiro Secure File Gateway, a SaaS version of Votiro in order to meet the needs of users who do not want to be aware of the server resources for the CDR process, or who do not have specialized engineers but want an easy-to-implement solution. Users do not need to aware of resources on their premises anymore since this SaaS processes files in Votiro Cloud on the Internet (the service’s region can be chosen from within Japan or overseas). Besides, users can securely open any file they receive without worrying about their possible harm by integrating Secure File Gateway to work with Internet gateways such as web, mail and file servers.

Making feedback from the market to Votiro Cybersec Ltd., Asgent is determined to continue providing IT environments where organizations can safely handle files.
