siteROCK and Asgent Announce Start of Collaboration to Provide Cloud Operations Services for Amazon Web Services

Asgent, Inc. (President & CEO: Takahiro Sugimoto, located in Chuo-ku, Tokyo) and siteROCK K.K. (Representative Director and Chairman of the Board: Nobuyuki Amano, located in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) announce they will collaborate to provide cloud operations services for Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Sales will begin on June 4th for “SecurityPlus Managed Security Service for Trend Micro Deep Security” (MSS for DS) provided by Asgent as the security option for the AWS operations and monitoring service “Site Care Cloud for AWS” provided by siteROCK.

“Site Care Cloud for AWS”, released in 2011 by siteROCK, provides a packaged service including 24/365 monitoring, incident response and operations optimized for systems operating in AWS environments, use of which is steadily increasing.

Meanwhile, Asgent announced “SecurityPlus Managed Security Service for Trend Micro Deep Security” in 2013. This service provides 24/365 monitoring by Asgents Security Operation Center (SOC) of the many logs produced by "Trend Micro Deep Security" within customers’ AWS environments, as well as correlation analysis by Asgents highly reputed security analysts. In other words, this service is known as the "Security Specialist’s Eye".

As more and more companies integrate mission critical systems into AWS, Trend Micro Deep Security is a hosted security solution that has gained high praise from enterprises using AWS as a platform for mission critical systems, utilizing the “Shared Responsibility Model” put forward by AWS.

siteROCK and Asgent will work to promote adoption of AWS by enterprises demanding a higher level of security by unifying provision of comprehensive operations and monitoring services through “Site Care Cloud for AWS” and security operations/monitoring services with “MSS for DS”.

Also, siteROCK and Asgent will utilize this collaboration to perform various undertakings with the goal of providing secure cloud operations.

・Security Incident Monitoring：

Real-time analysis and reporting of security events reported by Trend Micro Deep Security. Suggestions regarding appropriate response will be made upon correlative analysis of logs and communication patterns as well as information from applications used in the customers system.

・Incident Situation Status, Monthly Reports：

A monthly report will be provided from the customer portal, detailing what actions were taken during the month.

・Trend Micro Deep Security Operations Maintenance：

Trend Micro Deep Security rule additions and changes will be made on behalf of the customer.
