"Looking Back on the Building and Operation of Security Cloud and the Future" by Shimane Prefecture

  Asgent、Inc., (Address: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President,: Takahiro Sugimoto) and Qualitia Co., Ltd. (Address: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director,: Ken Matsuda) will hold online (ZOOM) on Friday, November 6, 2020, a seminar on "Looking Back on the Building and Operation of Security Cloud and the Future" by Shimane Prefecture.

In December 2015, the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications announced the "Fundamental Strengthening of New Local Government Information Security Measures." As a result, local governments across the country have implemented "Three-Layer measures" consisting of separating the office work system using the My Number, securing LGWAN (integrated administrative network) environment, and building a local government information security cloud. On May 22 this year, MIC released a "Review of Local Governments' Security Measures^※１." This is to examine new local government information security measures that improve efficiency and convenience based on the effects and challenges of the "Three-Layer Measures" and the demands of the new era (e.g., cloud-by-default principles, administrative online systems, and work-style reforms). Local government security is entering a new stage.

Given this background, we will hold the "Looking Back on the Building and Operation of Security Cloud and the Future" by Shimane Prefecture, with the aim of helping SIer in charge of local government security consider the next-generation security cloud. As a keynote speech, we invite the group leader of the information policy group of the Information Policy Division of the Shimane Prefectural Regional Promotion Department, who is involved in information security in Shimane Prefecture, to discuss the current status of measures, the impression of the introduction and operation of the security cloud, and the idea of the next generation of the security cloud. In addition, Energia Communications,Inc., which is involved in the operation of the security cloud in Shimane Prefecture, will discuss the actual operation experience for four years. Finally, four companies, Asgent, Inc., Energia Communications,Inc., Qualitia Co., Ltd., and Swatt Brains Co., Ltd., which have provided security solutions to local governments around the country, will conduct panel discussions on the status of the current security cloud and new proposals for the next security cloud.
