Asgent, Inc.. (location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takahiro Sugimoto; JASDAQ:4288; hereinafter referred to as "Asgent"), which is primarily engaged in the provision of security and SOC services, will commence sales of "Hysolate Workspace" in which the operating system isolation solution "Hysolate" of Hysolate, Ltd. (location: Israel; CEO & Board Member: Marc Gaffan, ; hereinafter referred to as "Hysolate ") has evolved.

[BACKGROUND]
Telework was accelerated as a measure to prevent the spread of new types of corona virus. With this in mind, there is an organization that has made a complete transition to telework, and telework is becoming one of the common forms of work.
However, in order to perform telework, it is necessary to maintain convenience and operability while ensuring the same security as the in-house network. In addition, the client terminal must be a trusted and clean device to achieve the zero-trust model. Many organizations are considering and implementing a variety of solutions, including VDIs, DaaS, and virtual browsers. However, there are no solutions that satisfy both security and convenience, and deployment is extremely time-consuming.

[Hysolate Workspace]
Previously, Hysolate installed a hypervisor on the client terminal to run the virtual operating system provided by the administrator in parallel to achieve OS isolation. Hysolate Workspace maintains the host operating system of the client terminal, automatically creates an isolated workspace operating system, and centrally manages it in the cloud. You can deploy a new OS space on client terminals in just a few minutes without the need to build a transit server, without the need for advanced expertise, and with applications needed for your business.
Because the host and workspace operating systems are separated at the kernel level, security breaches such as malware infection in the workspace operating system do not lead to the leakage of critical data on the host operating system. You can protect the host operating system from various attacks, such as phishing attacks, attacks that exploit application and OS vulnerabilities, impersonation attacks, and so on, and maintain a clean state.
From a convenience perspective, you can eliminate the limitations of traditional solutions such as VDIs, DaaS, and virtual browsers, such as the unavailability of web conferencing and other applications and scanning devices, as well as delays in operating in low-bandwidth networking environments. It is designed for user-friendliness, and you can switch between operating systems by using shortcut keys. You can also control the copying of text and files between operating systems according to your organization's policies set in the Cloud Administration Console. IT administrators can flexibly adapt their business policies to departments, roles, and connection environments, such as giving some users administrator rights to the workspace OS for greater flexibility and restricting users in other departments to use only the business applications they specify. Hysolate Workspace is a convenient solution that can be used to create 1. a secure access environment in telework, 2. a BYOD environment in which personal areas and work areas are separated, 3. a network-separated environment in which closed networks and Internet connections are connected, and 1. to 3. above-mentioned usage scenes can be combined in a single license.

[Advantages of Hysolate not available in other terminal virtualization products]
- Prevent the host operating system from compromising critical data even if the workspace operating system is compromised by malware or other security breaches
- Easy deployment due to cloud management, enabling quick construction of a telework environment regardless of the size
- Does not require a relay server or an additional OS license, making it easy to operate and compressing the total cost
- Increased employee productivity by allowing applications to improve the usability and by enabling the usage of familiar handsets

[Application Scene Example]
1. Running risky Internet applications in the workspace OS
By separating the internal OS (host OS) for internal resource access and the external OS (workspace OS) for Internet access, security compromise to the backbone system via the telework terminal is prevented.

2. To maintaining telework security in BYOD
You can deploy a business workspace operating system using Hysolate Workspace on a personally owned PC. The workspace OS can be easily migrated to a telework environment by pre-installing and deploying applications that are required for tasks defined in the cloud management console.

3. In an Internet-separated environment
By separating the operating systems of PCs for dedicated WANs and for the Internet, you can achieve both network isolation and OS isolation that cannot be achieved with other solutions.

[Zero trust]
It provides connectivity from trusted, clean devices required for zero trust, and also allow running apps that require legacy access, and direct access.
