Asgent's security products win Runner-up and Panel of Judges’ Special Prizes in Best of Show Award at Interop Tokyo 2024

  Asgent, Inc. (Tokyo, Japan / President: Takahiro Sugimoto / TSE Standard 4288 / hereinafter "Asgent"), a company primarily engaged in providing security solutions, has won Best of Show Awards in the security category at Interop Tokyo 2024 (Makuhari Messe, June 12 to 14, 2024). This is the sixth consecutive time that Asgent has received these awards since 2018. ^※1

[Best of Show Award]
   Interop Tokyo is one of the largest Internet technology events in Japan and has been held since 1994. The Best of Show Awards are determined by a panel of finalists from nearly 300 entries.

Asgent's award-winning products and the judges' comments on the awards are as follows:

ASM Check-Up: Runner-up, Security Category

Product Overview
ASM Checkup is a service that collects various information about your organization from IT assets exposed on the Internet and identifies vulnerabilities that may be a route to unauthorized entry. ASM Checkup is highly accurate in its detection capability and can present risks not only to your own assets, but also to 3rd Party external assets such as hyperlinks and embedded content, allowing you to proactively address them and minimize the risk of external attacks.

Judges' Comments
This Runner-up Prize is awarded to ASM Checkup for its ability to offer ASM products, which have been attracting increasing attention in recent years due to government recommendations and other factors, as a service at a reasonable price point, rather than as a license. We also evaluated the fact that ASM Checkup has a "digital supply chain analysis function" that similar products do not have. We also particularly appreciated the fact that it offers a "free analysis service" that turns the first step of ASM products into a no-risk process, where the effectiveness of the product is not known until it has been analyzed once. We hope Asgent will continue to provide the free analysis service in the future.

Check Point Quantum Spark: Runner-up, Security Category

Product Overview
The Quantum Spark is an affordable appliance that combines enterprise-level security features that address a variety of threats with the responsiveness and flexibility required by SMBs. The Quantum Spark eliminates the need for external switches and minimizes downtime by employing integrated switches and dual power supplies to enhance network resiliency, efficiency, and flexibility.

Judges' Comments
Quantum Spark is awarded the Runner-Up Grand Prix for its extensive bandwidth coverage and the ability to deploy all features as needed, regardless of the model. The award is also based on the fact that Quantum Spark is competitively priced and offers a simple option with broad risk coverage for domestic supply chains with a variety of possible needs, including small and medium-sized businesses.

SecureLayer Browser Extension: Panel of Judges’ Special Prize, Security

Product Overview
In SaaS-intensive business environments, this solution provides information leak prevention without compromising the user experience while maintaining familiar browsers such as Chrome and Edge. By simply plugging into the browser, SecureLayer detects advanced phishing pages, spying extensions, limits shadow IT, and prevents code pasting with generated AI, etc. Compared to traditional technologies such as VDI, SecureLayer is easy and inexpensive to deploy. SecureLayer can be deployed easily and inexpensively compared to traditional technologies such as VDI.

Judges' Comments
The Panel of Judges’ Special Prize is presented to this new product for its ability to protect user security by focusing on the browser at a time when the web browser is becoming the business platform of choice. We also evaluated the ease of implementation of the product, the fact that it does not lower the user experience, and the fact that it uses a Japanese cloud server despite being an overseas product.
